This is a RHK Commando Bowie in black with a black linen Micarta handle. The military officer who ordered this knife wanted it blued to hide any shine that might reflect the sun. It was forged from 52100 stock that was originally 5" round. (Same 52100 steel as Ed Fowler uses in fact.) This particular blade was made a bit shorter to accomadate the custom aspect of his order. The sheath was black leather with a stone and pouch sewn onto the front ala Randall sheaths!
